Seeking a full-time permanent REGIONAL PCA LIAISON FLOATER who will be primarily responsible for working as liaison in the assigned region covering W. Springfield and the Worcester offices assisting consumers, participants, and PCAs/DCWs with inquiries and problem resolution. This role will extend to providing general in-person support to visitors for questions and documentation related to the overall FI program. The regional liaison will also be trained and capable of providing training and support for our company. Finally, the regional liaison will coordinate with the Consumer Advisory Board coordinator to address concerns and review opportunities within that region. Assure ongoing compliance with our quality and FI contract requirements. Travel is required for this position AND “Mileage Reimbursement will be given” to ensure regional office coverage for the Worcester and Springfield offices. Wage $20/hr.; M-F; 8:30am-4:30pm; position to start March 4; two-day orientation in Stoughton office; SIGN ON BONUS: $500 AFTER 3 MONTHS; ADDITIONAL $500 AFTER 6 MONTHS, mileage reimbursement for all travel in between offices.

DUTIES:

  • Act as a liaison between consumers, participants, and/or PCAs/DCWs and for our company
  • Respond to consumer/participant and/or PCA/DCW inquiries and complaints
  • Provide in-person assistance, either scheduled or ad-hoc, related to FI documentation or program related questions
  • Help resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies related to reporting of activity time
  • Work with applicable parties to determine PA/WA status and if new PA/WA needs to be requested
  • Work with applicable parties to address and resolve PCA/DCW payment issues
  • Respond to issues that have been escalated by consumers/surrogates/administrative proxies/waiver participants and/or PCAs/DCWs
  • Receive visitors and determine their needs and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Maintain visitor and ID badge register; issue ID badges where appropriate
  • Deal with inquiries and provide accurate information
  • Perform administrative work, including supporting other departments, as needed and as time allows
  • Report all suspected incidents of consumer sexual/physical abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience with MS Excel and spreadsheets
  • Must be professional, friendly, and have an understanding personality
  • Must be punctuality and dependable and self-motivated
  • Must be able to work efficiently as a team player as well as individual with minimal direction with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Able to consistently maintain and build positive working relationships
  • Must have excellent organizational interpersonal and analytical skills and be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Must be familiar with office machines, equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machine), and software
  • Must be able to show respect and maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to pass CORI background check
  • Travel is required for this position AND “Mileage Reimbursement will be given”, to ensure regional office coverage for Worcester and Springfield.
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
