Career Technical Initiative at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School

HVAC

September 2024

HVAC training equips individuals with the skills to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, encompassing electrical systems, refrigeration principles, ductwork, and troubleshooting techniques.

Culinary Arts

September 2024

Training for a variety of careers in the food industry where more than 100,000 new jobs are available annually. Skills taught inside include commercial cooking and baking, health and safety standards, and organizational skills.

Advanced Manufacturing

September 2024

Advanced manufacturing training is designed to equip individuals with the cutting-edge skills and expertise needed to thrive in modern manufacturing environments. The course will introduce topics such as milling, turning, CAD/CAM/CNC, blueprint reading, inspection, and additive manufacturing, enabling them to pursue rewarding careers in the high-tech manufacturing sector.

Sheet Metal

September 2024

The CTI Sheet Metal Program equips adult learners with skills and Industry Recognized Credentials for entry-level sheet metal jobs, covering safety, tools, welding, ductwork, math, and construction drawings, plus resume and interview training.

Automotive Collision Repair

September 2024

This course upskills adults in automotive repair and refinishing, providing skills and Industry Recognized Credentials for entry-level jobs, covering vehicle ID, damage assessment, repair, refinishing, and ADAS, plus resume and interview training.

Eligibility Documentation

During the application process, we will ask you to provide documents to ensure your eligibility to participate in a grant-funded training. You can optionally upload your documents now to expedite your application.

Eligibility requirements: (can be found in full HERE)

  1. You must be a Massachusetts resident. One of the following documents allowed:
    1. Driver's License
    2. State ID
  2. You must be unemployed or underemployed.
    1. For unemployed individuals, documents allowed are
      1. Benefits statement or monetary determination letter from Unemployment Insurance.
      2. Termination letter from most recent employer
    2. For underemployed individuals (earning less than $51,600 yearly or $24.80 hourly), documents allowed are:
      1. One month of pay stubs
      2. Last Year's W-2 form
      3. Proof of Public Benefits (TANF, SNAP, SSI, SSDI)
  3. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Acceptable documentation can be found HERE.
