The following components are MANDATORY requirements and must be submitted no later than one hour prior to your Initial RESEA Review appointment.

IMPORTANT: Failure to submit these on time can result in your meeting being rescheduled, and/or non-attainment of your Initial RESEA Review goals.

Please note: You will be required to show your picture ID on camera at your Initial RESEA Review meeting.

First, you must complete your JobQuest registration and Career Action Plan. After logging in to JobQuest, click on “Start Your CAP”, then complete the steps Identify Targeted Occupation, Research Job Market and Needs Assessment.

Next, fill out the following forms. These forms includes all the required documentation for you to attain your Initial RESEA Review.

When you are done, your submitted documents will be sent to your employment counselor.

REMINDER: If you have moved since you filed your claim for benefits, you must notify the Department of Unemployment Assistance by accessing your U.I. Online account or by calling 617-626-6800.

NOTE: The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment Program (RESEA) is a mandatory program designed to ensure that you meet state and federal requirements to receive unemployment insurance benefits. Any information that you provide may affect your eligibility to receive those benefits.

To continue receiving benefits, you must:

• Look for work at least: 3 times per week.
• You must also keep a record of your work searches.
• If you are a union member and may only accept work through your union, you must keep track of all contacts between you and the Union.
