Clark University’s microcredentials let you:
- Learn at your own convenience and pace using a state-of-the-art online platform (complete all courses by September 30, 2025)
- Finish each course in six-eight weeks (finish Bounce online work readiness training any time before September 30, 2025)
- Earn either digital badges (for completing individual courses) or a digital certificate (for completing all courses in a track)
Choose a professional track:
1. Digital Marketing and Analytics: Digital Marketing Fundamentals, Digital Marketing Strategy, Data Analytics, and Bounce Work Readiness (online through MassHire).
Courses in this track help aspiring and current marketing professionals gain deeper insights into digital marketing techniques and how to use analytics to advance their careers.
2. Healthcare Management: Healthcare Data Management, Healthcare Project Management, Bounce Work Readiness (online through MassHire).
Courses in this track help practicing nurses who are early in their careers and aspire to supervisory roles that require data and project management skills.
3. Python Basics and Data Analytics: Programming Essentials with Python, Programming Applications with Python, Data Analytics with Python, Bounce Work Readiness (online through MassHire).
Courses in this track help people seeking a career in IT (especially data management) build a strong foundation in Python and differentiate themselves in the digital technology workplace. (Prospective enrollees should have a basic understanding of IT and any programming language.)
Students who complete all courses in a track by September 30, 2025, will earn a downloadable certificate with metadata detailing the skills mastered (enrollees who complete individual courses earn a digital badge). Both are perfect for posting on social media like LinkedIn!
To be eligible, you must (at a minimum):
- Be 17 years of age or older and not attending secondary school (high school)
- Be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Live in Massachusetts or a location served by the MCRWB
- Be unemployed or underemployed
- Attend a mandatory info session (dates and times below)
Easy Application and Enrollment:
1. Complete and submit this interest form.
2. Attend a mandatory in-person info session at MassHire Worcester (554 Main Street, 4th floor–pre-registration not required)
- March 4: Noon
- March 5: 5:30PM
- March 6: 6PM
3. Schedule and complete a short (<15 minutes) in-person or video interview with the Program Manager (use this link to schedule)
4. Upload required eligibility documents* to the secure TechBoost Registration Form (you’ll get instructions by email after you finish steps 1, 2, & 3)
5. Register and enroll at the Clark University website (you’ll get instructions by email after you finish step 4)
6. Register for Bounce online work readiness training (contact Bill Starr at MassHire)
