Free Sheet Metal Training Program

Master the craft of precision with our Sheet Metal course and shape your future in manufacturing.

Class starts September 2024

The CTI Sheet Metal Program is designed to upskill adult learners in sheet metal work, providing them with the necessary skills and Industry Recognized Credentials (IRCs) to secure at least an entry-level position in a local sheet metal shop. Bay Path’s metal fabrication instructor will guide students through both classroom and hands-on learning, covering sheet metal health and safety practices, an introduction to hand and power tools, basic welding, fabrication and installation of ductwork, construction math, and construction drawings. Throughout the course, students will earn IRCs such as OSHA 10 and Hot Works Certification. Additionally, the program offers training and guidance for the application process, including resume-building and interviewing skills.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

  • September 2024 – March 2025
  • Mondays and Wednesdays
    • 4:30pm to 8:30pm
  • Participants are eligible to receive stipends based on completion of the program and gaining employment
  • In-person training located at Bay Path High School

  • Legally able to work in the U.S.
