These services included financial assistance for his overdue electric bill, transportation expenses, and suitable work clothes.

Vietnam veteran facing Serious Barriers to Employment (SBE) reached out to the Career Center for job assistance and was directed to a Veteran Representative at MassHire who assisted in improving his resume.
The VR informed him about a substance abuse counseling position with a Central MA veteran servicing agency aligning with his interests.
With guidance from the VR, he applied online, and the VR made calls to HR and the Vice President at the company.
