Worcester Jobs Fund Training Application

In order for individuals to be eligible to participate in Worcester Jobs Fund programs, they must meet the following ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a City of Worcester resident.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be income eligible.

**Specific training programs may have additional criteria for applicants based on job-specific hiring standards related to that individual occupation.  Examples include driver’s license as well as high school diploma or equivalent.

Eligibility Documentation

During the application process, we will ask you to provide documents to ensure your eligibility to participate a grant-funded training. You can optionally upload your documents now to expedite your application.

Eligibility requirements:

  1. You must be a Massachusetts resident. Documents allowed are:
    1. Driver's License
    2. State ID
  2. You must be unemployed or underemployed.
    1. For unemployed individuals, documents allowed are
      1. Benefits statement or monetary determination letter from Unemployment Insurance.
      2. Termination letter from most recent employer
    2. For underemployed individuals (earning less than $53,000 yearly), documents allowed are:
      1. One month of pay stubs
      2. 2022 W-2 forms
