This course introduces adult learners to the core concepts of the HVAC and oil burner industry. Bay Path’s experienced HVAC instructors will equip individuals with essential skills and provide a deep understanding of installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
Students can expect to become proficient HVAC technicians capable of handling electrical systems, refrigeration principles, ductwork, and oil burner systems, and be able to troubleshoot with confidence. Our facilities and industry-standard equipment ensure you receive the best training possible. With the skills and certifications acquired through our program, you’ll have a wide range of employment opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Whether you’re a beginner looking to enter the HVAC industry or an experienced professional seeking to upgrade your skills, our HVAC Training Program is your gateway to success.
Students will earn Industry Recognized Credentials such as Oil Burner Tech, EPA 608, Hot Works Certification, and OSHA 10.
Job-readiness support, including resume-building and interview coaching, is also included to help students transition successfully into the workforce.

Application Process
1. Eligibility Review – We’ll review your eligibility, and if you qualify, we’ll reach out with next steps. If you don’t hear from us, no further action is needed. Please note: you must be a member of the career center to move forward.
2. TABE Test – If you’re eligible, you’ll be invited to schedule a Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). Bay Path requires that all students meet a minimum grade level in order to participate. (TABE Preparation Tips)
3. Interview – If your test scores meet the program criteria, you’ll be referred to Bay Path for an in-person interview.
4. Final Decisions – Bay Path makes the acceptance decisions. All applicants will be notified of final decisions by the first week of September.
