MassHire Central Career Centers (“MassHire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at masshirecentralcc.com and to information you provide through our online and social media forms, including lead forms on Facebook and Instagram.

By using our website or submitting information through our forms, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, register for an event, apply or express interest in a program, respond to a survey, or submit a form — including a Facebook or Instagram Instant Form — we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the program or service you’re interested in, and any other information you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring links. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used.

Program participation information. If you enroll in or receive workforce services, we may collect additional information as part of intake and program administration. This information is handled in accordance with applicable federal and state workforce program requirements, which may impose additional confidentiality obligations beyond this policy.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and contact you about training, workforce services, and events;
  • Process program interest, applications, and enrollment;
  • Provide, operate, and improve our services and website;
  • Send you updates, newsletters, and program information you’ve asked to receive;
  • Meet reporting, audit, and compliance obligations to our funders and oversight agencies.

How we share your information

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services and meet our obligations. Specifically, we may share it with:

  • Training and program partners — for example, Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School — to process enrollment and deliver the training you’re interested in;
  • Government agencies and funders — including the U.S. Department of Labor, the Commonwealth Corporation, and the MassHire state workforce system — for required reporting, oversight, and program administration;
  • Service providers who help us operate, such as email, form, scheduling, and customer-relationship platforms, and who are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us;
  • Others when required by law, such as to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or lawful government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of MassHire, our participants, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Social media lead forms

If you submit your information through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, that information is also collected and processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. under Meta’s own privacy policy. We receive the information you submit and use it as described in this policy — primarily to follow up with you about the training or service you expressed interest in.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and analytics tools to understand traffic and improve the user experience. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent; some parts of the site may not function properly if you do.

Email communications

If you receive marketing or informational emails from us, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect communications necessary to provide a service you’ve requested.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and longer where required to meet legal, funder, audit, or recordkeeping obligations. Leads collected through Facebook or Instagram Instant Forms are also retained by Meta for a limited period in accordance with Meta’s policies.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our website and marketing are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Youth workforce programs, where offered, are administered through appropriate intake processes with any required parental or guardian involvement, and not through general website or social media forms.

Links to other websites

Our website and communications may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about this policy, by contacting us using the information below. We will respond consistent with applicable law and our obligations as a publicly funded workforce organization.
